🍂 Pause for a Seasonal Check-In
Take a few minutes today to sit quietly, perhaps with your favourite cup of tea, maybe outside under a turning tree.
You can reflect in the space of your mind or feel free to use the following inquiries as journal prompts.
What have I harvested this year?
Think of the energy, lessons, or creations you’ve gathered since spring. What feels ripe and full in your life right now? What can I release, like the trees releasing their leaves?
Perhaps it’s a habit, a belief, or a way of moving through your days that no longer serves you. What would it feel like to set it down? What routine or rhythm is asking to return?
Autumn often pulls us back into structure — school schedules, earlier evenings, cozy rituals. What routine could bring you steadiness right now?

“As the leaves begin to fall, could you imagine the decaying leaves serving as nutrients to prepare the tree for winter? Even the things that we let go have a purpose.”
Welcome Rituals to Prepare for the Autumnal Equinox 🌙
Light a candle at sunset (or whatever time works for you) and take a long deep inhale, imagining your inhale gathering nourishment, exhaling softly and slowly, letting go of what feels complete or what no longer serves this season of you.
Create an Autumn Altar, placing symbolic pieces as the harvest draws near. These items could be a card you pull for yourself, a small pumpkin, a fallen leaf, a jar of dried herbs or items to symbolize cultivation and harvest.
I invite you to write out your intention for this Autumn Equinox and to place it on your altar. Let this intention be a guiding light for this season.
Much love and until next time,
Breanna
